Jose’s Heartbeat (Sparky)

Jose’s Heartbeat, aka Sparky, is a seven-year-old registered Tennessee Walking Horse and registered with the Racking Horse Breeders Association of America. This beautiful black gelding stands 15.2 hands tall. He has an exceptionally sweet personality that you can’t help but love.

Sparky is easy to catch in a field or stall. He stands great to groom, tack, bathe, clip, and for the farrier. He will let you pick up all 4 feet with ease. All around, his ground manners are great. He stands great in the crossties or tied to a tree in the woods. He is a quiet and easy keeper. He will load and unload in any type of trailer-backs out and walks on and off of the ramp. In the three years I have had him; he has not once offered to rear, buck, kick or bite. He has a puppy dog personality and will follow you around like one too.

Sparky has an extensive history on the trails and in the show ring. He has been on many overnight trips, camping, and showing and acclimates very well. He will go in any direction you point him on a trail- crosses logs, water, etc. Rough trail or easy trail, he can do it all day. He will ride out alone or in a group, front, middle, or back. He is in no way barn or buddy sour but gets along well with other horses. He is extremely traffic safe- he has been around semis, ATVs, big trailers passing by, and other loud vehicles. Dogs and other animals do not bother him. He is the perfect trail to rail horse.

He has been lightly started on neck reining. He will stand to be mounted and backs readily when asked. He rides double and has even been shown in a doubles class at a fun show. He will also ride in just a halter and lead rope bareback. He lunges on a line or in the round pen.

Sparky is sound and healthy in every way. In the time I have owned him, he has never had any soundness or health issues.
