Johnny Boone is a beautiful bay tobiano with a thick, flowing, mixed mane and tail. He stands a sturdy 15hh. If you’re in the market for a reliable trail mount, consider Johnny Boone. While we have had Johnny Boone around, he has been a pleasure to handle and ride. He pastures and stalls well. He easily comes to the barn, to you, loves being petted, and getting your attention. Johnny Boone is cooperative with the farrier and the veterinarian.

He is quiet and easy to groom, tack up, bridle, etc. He also loads and backs off the horse trailer with no problem. Johnny Boone stands to be mounted from the ground or a mounting block. He has no trouble riding away from the barn, alone, or with others, front, back, or middle. He has extensive trail experience, along with numerous camping trips on his resume. The only thing I can find to criticize him on is that he dislikes being sprayed with fly spray. I simply put the fly spray on a towel and wiped him down with no trouble. This is nothing major, but I want to note it. I have ridden Johnny Boone down highways with traffic, through trails, creeks, and mud puddles, and passed dogs on our route, all while encountering wildlife, with no issues. He is content to walk on a loose rein if that is what you desire, or he can step out into his nice gait if you ask.

He has a nice square 4-beat gait. Johnny Boone has the beauty, brains, gait, and experience that many people look for. I am happy to be presenting him. He is an easy keeper and has a chunky build. He is UTD on coggins, vaccinations, farrier (he is keg shod), deworming, and he has a clear health exam from the veterinarian. Johnny Boone is a healthy horse that is ready to hit the trails!
