Jessie is like an uber driver for the complete beginner rider and exciting for the novelist rider with buttons. He is very willing and eager to learn, enjoys his consistent training, and has been trained three times throughout life totaling 120 days. Jessie has a medium headset tucked when you desire one with an extremely smooth‐running walk (which Jessie prefers), a standard TWH walk, and a good lope that is easy. He is a very calm and laid-back type of horse with excellent ground manners and will yield to all kinds of body pressure to move, including leg cues. He has an average confirmation and is a very intelligent horse that retains what he learns and is considered above average compared to other horses. He is great-minded and will ignore a herd of horses when work is to be done.
Jessie enjoys being groomed by kids. He also lays on command; whether on the ground or while mounted, he bows and sits up. He can also pivot and side pass to the mounting block or any object …As you approach the mounting block, Jesse responds to the rider lifting the right hand in the air and will adjust to the mounting block. He can also back up with light leg pressure.
Jessie has been desensitized to farm machinery, Traffic, Flags, Balloons, Cattle, Whips, and Dogs and is broke to Gunfire. He is extremely experienced in trails, wooded areas, and crossing water. He is also trained to neck rein, which can be done one-handed along with loose reins, plow reins, and sixty percent bridleless with only leg cues. He is soft in the mouth and has been ridden with a snaffle. Jessie does not mind leading in a group, being at the back of the line, or simply separating from the group entirely. Jessie is not herd sour. He has an independent mind. Jessie can be ridden single, double, and quadruple, depending on weight. He has also experienced camping trips and events to Eminence, MO, Land between the lakes, Stevens Forest, and Bison Trail, CO.
Jessie has ponied other horses, has been through obstacle courses, swimming in shallow and deep waters. He is an all-around great horse and loves spending time with his humans. He will lay his head in your lap with no aggression and will give all the love. He will come to the gate to meet and greet you when called from out in the field. When loading, he will load without hesitation on slant load and two-horse straight load with or without a ramp, and when unloading, Gently pull on his tail, and he will comfortably find his footing on his way out of any trailer, even if it’s higher than normal.
