This is a NICE 12 yr old 14.3 hand ALL-AROUND John mule.
“HUCK” is EXPERIENCED in hunting, packing, ranching, camping & trail riding.
He’s one hand broke with good conformation, heavier boned (not fine-boned like many mules), sure-footed & stout enough to carry weight.
He’s been owned, loved, ridden, hunted & packed on by a gentleman in his late 70’s who has owned Huck for the most of his life, but due to medical problems, he is no longer able to ride & at no fault of Huck’s, it’s the only reason he is being offered for sale.
For years, this gentleman used Huck extensively hunting, packing, camping, & riding trails.
His son took Huck to West Texas to use while working one summer in the feedlots to gather, sort, pen & doctor calves. He also used him on several occasions when working at a couple of our local Livestock Barn here in East Texas to sort, pen & load out cattle.
Huck is safe & dependable anywhere you go, which makes him perfect for anyone & he has been ridden by a kid, women, beginners, etc…
He’s one hand broke, w/t/c & has a nice stop & backs. Easy to ride, goes through water, mud, thickets, over logs, up/down steep & rocky terrain, stays quiet in heavy traffic and around loud noises, goes over bridges, etc… He rides perfectly in a group, away from the group and out alone, never gets rattled. Also stands quiet to mount & dismount with or without a block & bridles easily too. (Please watch all videos)
He stands good for the farrier, loads & unloads with ease, clips okay, but it’s not his favorite thing. He will put himself in the barn & stall himself too, easy to catch & is such a kind & patient mule!
He has NOT been passed/traded around, and he will NOT disappoint. You can buy with confidence!
We recommend & welcome you to come to ride as we stand behind Huck 100%!!!
