Sweet Pickle

Meet Sweet Pickle!

Sweet Pickle is a beautiful 14-hand bay mare, born April 29, 2019, with the kind of temperament and experience that make her a pleasure to have around and a joy to ride.

Pickle is kind, willing, and well-broke, making her suitable for a variety of riders. More experienced riders will especially appreciate her ability to move laterally, collect, and stop when asked. She has been professionally ridden for most of her life and has extensive experience outside the arena, including numerous trips to the mountains and organized trail rides.

Whether you prefer to ride in the lead, in the middle of the group, or out on your own, Pickle is happy to go. She has a sensible attitude and no spoiled behavior—just a dependable mare who is ready to get the job done.

Her pedigree is another special part of what makes Pickle stand out. She is by Sunrise Hotshot, a son of the great Southern Sunrise and a stallion who has appeared on the leading sires list. Hotshot has since been retired from breeding, making his offspring increasingly limited. He stood at stud with Larry Stevens, who does not breed to outside mares as part of his commitment to maintaining quality.

Pickle is the kind of mare you really need to experience for yourself.

Feel free to call or come ride her. You won’t be disappointed!
