Titus is a one-of-a-kind, GENTLE, stylish Missouri Fox Trotter gelding with a huge heart! He is five years old and stands at 14.2 hands. Titus is SOLID and one of the quietest-minded, SWEETEST horses we have ever owned. He is the perfect family horse and is suitable for any level rider. Titus has been in our training program since he was born. He has been ridden and trained to do all sorts of things and loves learning new things.

Titus has lots of trail miles and has been hauled to horse shows all over.
He has spent many hours in the arena and round pen. We started Titus the right way with basic training from simple lunging, flexing, picking up his shoulders, moving off your legs, and being super light in the face. Titus is super SOFT with tons of feel while riding or handling on the ground! He can be ridden flawlessly with an O-ring snaffle bit, shank bit, or even with just a halter. Titus rides easily on a loose rein at a walk and trot. He also responds to leg pressure and hand cues. He will stop when you say woah and place your legs out in front of you, then back up when you ask him to.

Titus stands still for mounting, or you can pull him next to the mounting block to make it easy. He has a SUPER SMOOTH gait that is comfortable to ride all day long. He has a smooth slow walk and has a beautiful foxtrot. Titus can also running walk if you ask him. He takes his time and never gets in a hurry or panics when in a tight spot. He will cross anything and go up or down the roughest of country without hesitation. He is good with water, bridges, gunfire, dogs, bullwhips, traffic, children, and ponying other horses.

Not only is Titus is an outstanding trail horse, but he also has an impressive show career. Titus won Reserve Champion his two-year-old year at The National Breeders Championship. Since then, he has gone on to be shown in ladies and men’s classes as well as the lead line class.

Titus will go to work every day with a good attitude or is just as happy to be fed treats and be loved on all day. Even with months off, he will be the same horse every time you get on him. He is a very trusting horse and will willingly go and do whatever you may ask.

Titus is QUIET in the stall, easy to catch in the pasture, and gets along with other horses. He stands without being tied for saddling and takes to the bridle gently. Titus is quiet and TRUSTWORTHY to be ridden out by himself or with a large group of horses. Titus has no spook and no bad habits. He loads and backs out of the trailer easily, stands for the farrier quietly as well as bathing and clipping.

Titus is UNIQUE, and a horse of his caliber is hard to find. We have put A LOT of love and time into Titus and his training. He is one of the nicest horses to go through our program. He is so willing, smart, loving, and gentle. Titus is so much fun to ride and a true pleasure to be around! Titus is just reaching his prime and is looking for his forever family to spend the rest of his life with. He is ready to go in any direction you may desire. Whether you are a die-hard rider or a novice, you will be very happy with this sweet boy.
