Hickory as we call him, definitely delivers on his namesake! He is one the toughest of all the horses we’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! Not to mention his resilience, he knows what a days work is, and is reliable as they come. Hickory has been used with all types of ranch work including roping, doctoring, sorting and pushing cattle and has a really nice handle on him. Hickory doesn’t weave, crib  and is not cinchy at all. Hickory has also been trail ridden with experienced riders and children, will cross logs and water. He is a real point and go kinda of horse . Hickory is very accommodating when on the trail, will lead or follow. Hickory is really easy to get along with and is super versatile in with his abilities.
