GHHH Queen Blue’s Ripley of Invictus (Ripley)

Ripley is the most amazing Gypsy Vanner I have ever been around. He wants to be with you all the time. He’s just a love and has the best disposition. Ripley has been used on the ranch for normal day-to-day activities, including branding, and is the family’s favorite. He is a super smooth ride. We have used him in parades, weddings, funerals, Quinceanera, birthdays, and special events. You name it; he has probably done it. Ripley is super easy to catch, as you will see in the video, you holler, and he comes running. He loves treats and people! He crosses water, Railroad Tracks, sagebrush, rocks, and downed timber; he is willing to do whatever you point him at. He loads and hauls excellently and is good about his feet and bathing. He is used to all farm animals, including dogs, cats, goats, pigs, chickens, cattle, and farm equipment. Ripley is a horse you can leave off for months and then come out, step on, or harness up, and he will walk right off like he’s never been off.

Regarding driving, I hook him up by myself or the team by myself. They know the word, whoa; you will see this in the videos. They are super easy to hook up. Ripley is always my go-to when we use a single for weddings, funerals, or any event. He is happy to be doing whatever you ask and loves the attention. He has been driven single, double, three-up up, and four-up. They were used in Canada (where we imported them from years ago) for pulling contests, obstacle courses, and even some driving clinics. They have harrowed fields, dragged arenas, and just done many things—even a bit of packing in the mountains. Due to the lack of snow last fall and the cancellation of all of our winter sleigh rides, we have made the hard decision to sell our truly fantastic Gypsy Vanner Team. Ripley sells this sale and his 1/2 brother and teammate Winston the week before this sale. We are located in Alturas, CA, and are happy to hold up to a week after the sale at no charge while one makes transportation arrangements. We will also haul up to 150 Miles to meet the transporter.
