Esmeralda is a gorgeous blue roan Kentucky Mountain mare ready to go anywhere with anyone! She is a kid and husband-safe and an absolute lover. Esmeralda’s gaits are smooth, and she will go up, down, around, or through anything you point her at. We have used this awesome gal to push cattle in the mountains and have ridden her on all the trails in town. She is traffic-safe and isn’t phased by bikes, strollers, dogs, kids, ATVs, etc. She knows a long day of work and is happy to go all day or take a short jaunt on a trail. Esmeralda hauls well next to mares or geldings, loads and unloads like one should (as seen in the video with a 10-year-old girl), and stands to be saddled and mounted. She will stand like a gem for kiddos crawling all over her as well. We have taken her through trail courses, and she has experience in the arena; she’s been exposed to everything! Esmeralda can be kept in a stall, run, or mixed-herd pasture setting with no issues and is great for the vet and farrier.
