Adam Jokisch Stables presents another top quality, professionally trained, 6-year-old registered Missouri Fox Trotting gelding, Country Tyme. Country Tyme, also known as Rusty, was born and raised on our farm in Freeburg, Illinois, as we have been raising high-quality Missouri Fox Trotters out of our renowned stallions and mares with world-class bloodlines.

If you are looking for a partner out on the trails, whatever circumstance that means to you, Rusty is perfect for the job. Rusty is a beautiful, chromed chestnut gelding with hundreds of miles of trail experience, so he has been put through various situations! Whether you want to climb steeply in the Ozark Mountains, down old country roads, the middle of the interstate with numerous vehicles, or even the McDonald’s parking lot – Rusty is your ideal mate.

There is a clear difference between a horse that a broke and a horse that is trained. You see many broke horses sold who perform well on the trails, but Rusty is exactly what you want in a horse – broke and trained. Rusty is a step above the rest, as top-notch horse enthusiasts professionally train him Damon Buehrer, a natural horsemanship professional, and Abbey Pailthorpe, a Clinton Anderson Ambassador who graduated at the top of her class. You will easily see the difference between a broke horse and a trained horse when you see Rusty. Along with his great, easy-going disposition that you cannot teach a horse, Rusty has mastered backing up, loading and shoeing easily, catching out in a pasture or stall, riding alone, organized trail rides and large groups, loud noises, such as gunshots, flexing, and most of all – respect.

Rusty is the type of horse who has experienced all types of riders of numerous different skill sets. From our professional Clinton Anderson ambassador, amateurs, and even a teenage boy with almost no experience, Rusty is agreeable to all of his handlers. Rusty is truly a horse willing to please and learn with his rider, regardless of their vast, individualized experiences.

Whatever your heart desires, Rusty is always up for all experiences. Something that may scare another horse or cause anxiety in new situations, Rusty handles with ease. As you can see from the videos, Rusty exhibits all of the obstacles with great stride, performing at the top of his class. Whether the obstacle is crossing a bridge or going through tarps, Rusty can do it all. English or western, bareback or saddled, up the hills or down in the creek, even pulling a buggy, Rusty is always a willing, enjoyable companion.

Over the past 35 years of raising Missouri Fox Trotters, we can honestly say Rusty is the type of horse you want in your barn. From being easy to handle, fun to ride, and a pedigree full of excellence, Rusty is the total package. We only offer our best horses on, and Rusty truly fits this category.
