CfourFamous Cartie, aka “Cocoa”, foaled May 28, 2024. She’s out of HP Dash Ta Fiesta, a 2013 sorrel AQHA stallion proudly bred and owned by Highpoint Performance Horses in Pilot Point, Texas. Known as “Firewater”, he has a pedigree that reads like a who’s who of the barrel horse industry. He is by the #1 all-time leading barrel horse sire, Dash Ta Fame, and out of Kelly Yates’s great mare, Firewater Fiesta. HP Dash Ta Fiesta is proving himself worthy of his lineage.
As a performer, he has earnings in the barrel futurity and derby pens, AQHA barrel arena, and he helped take Ryann Pedone to 6th place in the 2020 NFR barrel racing average. His real contribution, however, is proving to be as a sire. His oldest foals are just five and can already boast earnings of over 160 thousand in both barrel racing and roping events. HP Famous Fiesta was the 2022 Pink Buckle Sale Graduate Winner and Lance Graves Reserve Futurity Champion. Sweet French Dash is the 2023 Riata Buckle Co-Reserve Champion of 10.5 roping, splitting 81 thousand.
