Cali is an almost 6-year-old mare that has been ridden in Kentucky, the buttes at Fort Robinson, NE, Black Hills, SD, and the mountains of Wyoming. She does great on steep climbs, heat, and even in a strong hail shower. She steps well over logs, is very sure-footed, and doesn’t spook at wildlife or cars. She has been trained to step up to a mounting block and even lay down on command. She stands well for the farrier and picks her feet up with ease and stands well to get tacked up.
