Black Walnut Ranger

Description:

BLACK WALNUT RANGER

2024 Buckskin Morgan Gelding | Western Performance Prospect

If you’ve been looking for a young horse with the looks to turn heads and the potential to build into something special, take a serious look at Ranger.

Black Walnut Ranger is a striking 2024 buckskin Morgan gelding with the kind of presence and eye appeal that is hard to overlook. With his rich buckskin coloring, black mane and tail, attractive head, and athletic, functional build, Ranger has the qualities that turn heads.

What makes Ranger especially exciting is his potential to cross over into today’s western performance market. He has the conformation and presence to develop into Ranch Riding, Reining, Western Dressage, Ranch Trail, and other western disciplines, while also having the potential for sport horse and endurance.

Ranger combines the refinement and character of the Morgan breed with a more functional western type, giving his future owner an opportunity to take a young horse and develop him into their own program.

He is the in-your-pocket type and wants to please and learn. With his intelligence and versatility, he can perform successfully in many different disciplines.

He has a wonderful foundation for his age. He is quiet and respectful to handle; stands tied; loads and unloads; stands quietly for saddling; accepts the bridle and cinch; picks up his feet; yields his hindquarters and forehand from pressure; and is comfortable being handled all over. He has been exposed to obstacles and confidently walks over bridges and tarps. He is calm-minded and willing when introduced to new things and wants to learn. He is prepared for a successful future under saddle.

If you’re looking for a flashy young gelding with the looks, presence, pedigree, and potential to become your next performance partner, Ranger deserves your attention.
