Annie Oakley is a 9-year-old Missouri Foxtrotting mare standing at 14’2hh and built exceptionally well. This nice mare has been my mother’s personal horse for the past two years. Since she doesn’t ride much anymore, she has decided to offer Annie Oakley to someone who can enjoy her as much as she has. She has taken many overnight camping trips and large and small trail rides. Annie Oakley will stand overnight on a picket line, tied to the trailer, or stalled. The majority of her time is spent in the field with her 12 other pasture mates, where she gets along with everyone. Annie Oakley is a confidence booster and is suitable for anyone with basic riding knowledge. She will walk all day when asked or pick up into a beautiful 4-beat gait where she is all-natural. This mare has been ridden by just about everyone in my family and has also been used at a riding stable. Annie Oakley will ride in the front, back, or middle of a group and has ridden with groups of up to 30+ horses. She will stand to be tacked, mounted, shod, and bathed. Annie Oakley has been exposed to all sorts of wildlife, ATVs, tractors, dirt bikes, and other loud, noisy equipment. She is traffic and dog safe. Annie Oakley is sure-footed and will go down steep embankments with ease, cross creeks and walk over large logs.
