Akachi is an 8-year-old Fresian/TB mare standing at 15.3 hands. This mare is a big mover and loves to do so! She has a floating extended trot when asked or will draw it back in when asked. Akachi has had some dressage training in her history, was started in passage & piaffe and started over small jumps. This mare is too nice of a mover to *not* go into the eventing, dressage, or hunter jumper arena! She is a more sensitive mare and responds very well to leg aids and anything asked of her. Light on her cues, she will go through w/t/c transitions easily. Lunges both ways w/t/c without pulling or being heavy on the line. Has been ridden in the indoor arena and out on trails as well! She carries the best traits of both breeds, with the grace of the fresian and athleticism of the TB. Akachi would be perfect for someone looking for a solid English mount that’s been started in dressage and is ready to bring up through the levels! She has also been ridden in western tack and would make a great horse for anyone with experience. Akachi is attentive and loves to learn. She has a motor but stands still willingly when asked. She can be ridden by children or beginners with supervision. She is not spooky or fearful. You can even crack a bullwhip off of her! (See the videos we did!) She crosses bridges and has no problem with ditches or hills. Stands for the vet, farrier, in cross ties, ground ties, bathes, loads easily, etc. She has already had a PPE done, can send documents upon request, and is open to other PPEs! Her only vice is she’s a brat (acts bossy towards other horses) at feeding time when locked in the barn or in a stall. She does great when eating/feeding out in the pasture and does not get so wound up as she does when in the barn.
