A MAN OF PRESTIGE! What a gem with DAPPLES for days! “Ronin” is a beautiful, kind-natured gelding with years of experience. Ronin was bred and raised by one of the top breeders in the TWH industry and his pedigree is full of exceptional breeding! Ronin has been in our training program here at W2 Horses since he was a 3-year-old. He is as gentle and honest as they come. Ronin has been used primarily as a trail horse as well as has tons of bird hunting/field trial experience. He will go through any trail obstacle and has seen it all. He is super soft in the bridle, responds well to leg pressure, side passes, one hand neck reins, lopes both leads, backs up easily, ground ties, stands with hobbles, and has a smooth gait! Ronin will park out and stand perfectly still for mounting! He is good with guns, bullwhips, dogs, wagons, mules, ponying other horses, and traffic. He has spent lots of time roading dogs. He is good with water and crossing logs. He has even been swimming in the ocean and he loved it! Ronin has spent lots of time checking cattle in the pasture as well as tracking, roping and dragging steers in the arena. Ronin is safe to ride out alone on the trail and does well with large groups. The best part is he can be ridden anywhere and through anything BRIDLELESS and BAREBACK! He is soft enough, he can be ridden with a simple O-ring smooth snaffle or short shank bit. He is so smart, trusting, and kind! Ronin will be the same horse every time you ride him, even with time off. Ronin stands quietly without being tied for grooming, bathing, and saddling. He will drop his head and open his mouth willingly to take the bit and does not mind his ears being touched. He stands quiet for the farrier and will willingly pick up all four feet. He is easy to catch, gets along well with other horses, and will meet you at the gate! He is quiet when kept in the stall and has no bad habits.  He loads on the trailer perfectly, stands tied quietly, and will even back out nicely. He really is a sweet personable horse that loves attention and genuinely wants to please you. Ronin is the perfect family horse and is gentle enough for any rider!
